Hello,
I just read on Kindle Publishing Forum that with the latest release of Mac 10.10.5, KPR 2.94 is having some issues/bugs. So guys, if u r using KPR 2.94 and it's critical for your biz (as it's for me), then keep away from mac 10.5.5 for now. Hope to see patch from Amazon soon. Before I get to my question, I'm on a 2015 MacBook Pro Retina running 10.10.5 (Yosemite).
Kindle For Mac 10.10.5
So my native language is English and it's the primary language on my Mac. However, I lived in Japan for a few years and used previous Macs partially in Japanese. I now prefer the format language for dates, times, and numbers to be set to Japanese, solely because I prefer the layout on the Menu bar.
Kindle Creator For Osx 10.10.5
I need some help changing the language of the Kindle app to default to English, not Japanese. Changing the format language from Japanese back to English corrects this, but I feel like there has to be (or should be) a workaround to allow me to keep the Menu bar in Japanese and open Kindle in English. No other applications behave this way; everything else defaults to English. I have tried deleting the secondary language as Japanese, tried a variety of applications that claim to do this for you, even fooled around with Terminal a little bit, but nothing has worked. The only thing that has ever worked is changing the format language in settings, as aforementioned. But it's a real pain to have to switch that any time I need to use the Kindle app, then switch back when I'm done.
Anyone have any idea how I can achieve this?
Thanks in advance.
