Regardless of the program you are using, we all want to make sure we are being productive with our time. Using OneNote shortcuts is the perfect way to improve productivity in any of the Microsoft Office programs. The key to learning shortcuts is consistency. The commitment to give your mouse a rest and keep your hands on the keyboard wherever possible means you reduce the amount of movement between the keyboard and mouse and therefore improve workflow. There are LOTS of keyboard shortcut options, ut here you’ll find the most useful shortcuts you can use with Microsoft OneNote.

  • In OneNote for the web from your preferred browser, go to the section that you want to delete. Do one the following: From a PC or Mac, right-click (PC) or Control-click (Mac) the section name, and then click Delete Section.
  • You can mark individual pages as 'unread' and that will render the Section title in BOLD. If you right-click a page title and select Mark as Read (or unread) you can see what happens. If you right-click a page title and select Mark as Read (or unread) you can see what happens.
